About Us

The Breakfast Co

The Breakfast Company opened its first store in Crawfordsville, Indiana on January 16th, 2018. The Breakfast Company was founded by Doris Kline Maples who began her career in the restaurant industry in 1993 when she was hired by her good friend and mentor, Pete Avgerinos. In 1993, Pete, along with his wife Debora, were the owners of Elegance Restaurant in Brownsburg, Indiana. Several years later, Pete and Debora would open the first Flap Jacks Pancake House in the State of Indiana on the east side of Brownsburg.
